Final Evaluation

1. What have I improved this year? My drumming skills have improved, specifically off beat bass patterns. This is due to practice and learning new songs. I have achieved my initial goals and it has been useful to have things to achieve. When I had achieved my goals it gave me ambition to set more goals and achieve more. This will improve me as a musician because I will be able to self evaluate and learn without a teacher. 
2. Which musical goals have I achieved? How do I know? I have achieved all three of my goals by practicing daily alone but also with others in lessons, remembering to turn my hands face down and fixing the problem if it arises.
3. How am I finding the rehearsal process? The rehearsal process is going well and I am able to focus. Most of the time the rehearsals are productive and I always end knowing that I have improved.
4. What changes will I need to make to improve my musical work next year? I will need to practice new content instead of playing to improve technique. This is necessary to improve my drumming. I can do this by learning songs.
5. Write 3 new targets to achieve next year.

• Venture into new genres 
• Use different fills that are more complex
