SWOT

Strengths:
I am a steady drum player and I can play a lot of drum beats already. This will mean I can already play along to some songs and use my own fills
I am a confident player and can suggest ideas for songs we are practicing and I can experiment with my playing as I am not embarrassed when I mess up and just improve next time and learn from my mistakes.

Weaknesses: 
I have only just started playing with other people but better late than never so I will be able to improve my teamwork skills.
I do not have a lot of time to play my drum kit at home because of school work and other revision/ prep so i can not practice as much as I want to but I am lucky to have a kit and I do try to play at least 30 mins each day.


Opportunities:
I can now play with other people and improve my timing and teamwork skills.
I can improve my all round playing at home by using online videos or in my drum lessons.
I can learn songs at home using covers and notation or I can learn better with my drum teacher in my drum lessons and learn the proper song.

Threats:
The school has a bad drum kit so it hinders my progress in school but on the other hand I do have a kit at home and this encourages me to practice more because I know lesson time practice is not as useful.
We don't have a lot of time in school and we can't practice outside of school often if ever. This means we make the most of our lessons and practice together to be as efficient as we can.
